The project 'Emerging Attraction' is a joint initiative between four academic institutions in the region of Syddanmark and Schleswig-K.E.R.N. with the aim to raise the share of high-skilled labor in the German-Danish border region.

The development and extension of attractive cross-border opportunities for higher education and a strong intraregional networking of companies (employers) and universities (skilled labor) shall contribute to increasing the attractiveness of the border region. In this context, the project places emphasis on targeted cross-border initiatives. In addition to a positive business development and greater collaboration between industry and academia, the further development of academic skills shall be guaranteed. Here, focus lies on the areas of engineering and management.
